Made with beans from ten growers in the La Dalia Region of Nicaragua. They grow a mix of cacao varieties from known and unknown old heritage trees in their orchards. They refuse to sort them by type!

Unfortunately, the particular boxes that I received tasted of the cardboard packaging. I couldn’t detect any flavours besides that of cardboard but I was able to taste the difference in sweetness between the bars. I don’t think this is representative of the chocolate itself as I have tried other Friis-Holm bars, which did have flavour.
However, the concept is nice and the bars are a good sample size.
