In the sixties, Brion Gysin invented a kinetic sculpture called the dream machine. Inspired by the happy feeling you get traveling on a sunny day, the rhythmic flickering of sun and shadow opening a portal into dreamland…

When all the chocolate machines in the factory are whirling at the same time and the smell of cocoa fills the air, a similar portal opens. Dream Machine chocolate is made with cocoa from Soma’s favourite farms and growing regions. Close your eyes, place a piece on your tongue, let the chocolate slowly melt and take a trip to the chocolate lands.

SOMA chocolate maker of Toronto was founded by David Castellan and Cynthia Leung, who are committed to finding new ways to create and enjoy chocolate. They started out in 2003 and now, thanks to the support of their loyal chocolate-obsessed customers, have grown to two stores and a small factory.
