Description
Mayan and Q’echi ‘ communities surrounding lake Lachua in Guatemala grow this organic cacao intercropped with bananas, cardamom and coffee. Cacao fruit juice is needed during fermentation, but extra juice can be drained and used to slightly sweeten this special bar.
This bar is made 100% from cacao. The bar is sweetened with cacao fruit (30%) rather than refined sugar, with the remaining 70% from cacao beans and cocoa butter. The bar contains 47g of carbohydrate per 100g
