For the production of its organic chocolates, Perú Puro use only Chuncho beans, farmed by 45 smallholders in the Urubamba valley. These families manage cocoa agroforestry systems, preserving over 800 hectares of pristine rainforest.
The cocoa is processed by Felchlin Switzerland in to a fine 70% dark chocolate. In 2019, this bar was awarded the silver medal by the International Chocolate Awards.
