Award-winning chocolate sourced from only a handful of estates in the Dominican Republic, carefully crafted through Definite’s micro-batch operation. The result is fine dark chocolate with rich and complex tasting notes.

Cacao was first introduced to the island of Hispaniola (the current Dominican Republic and Haiti) by the Spanish at the beginning of the 17th century, mostly as an experiment. In the lee of Pico Duarte, a now dormant volcano and the tallest mountain in the Caribbean, the cacao tree thrives on the rich soil found on this island. It’s from here that Definite Chocolate source their cacao.

By ensuring each bar only uses cacao from a single estate, Definite maximise the tastes and tones of their chocolate.
