Keshet is part of the family-owned company Agro Industrial Don Germán SAC, founded by parents Germán and Fara, whose passion for nature and agriculture led them to establish operations in the central Peruvian rainforest. The company is based in the Puerto Yaneriato–Río Ene Settlement, on the left bank of the Ene River, in the district of San Martín de Pangoa, Junín. There, it cultivates a range of native crops, including Criollo cacao, a naturally occurring variety of the virgin rainforest, as well as fruit and timber trees. Keshet continues to produce uniquely aromatic cacao from the VRAEM rainforest. Led by the first generation of descendants of the original settlers —trained agronomists and agricultural professionals — the company is committed to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship, focusing on producing the highest-quality, natural cacao beans to craft exceptional chocolate.
