Description

The Kyela region—also known as the “Breadbasket of Tanzania”—is home to the small village of Kysyosi, where the Tujicomboe cacao producer group brings together around 30 farming families. Their name means “Be Strong” in Swahili.

Bordered by Lake Malawi to the south and the Livingstone Mountains to the east, the region is crisscrossed by rivers and streams that create an ideal climate and provide abundant irrigation for some of Tanzania’s finest cacao.
