Description
The Señorita bar by Ura Chocolate is made with Chuncho cacao sourced from Paytiti cocoa farm in Quellouno, Cusco. The farm has cultivated Chuncho cacao for three generations, originally established by Don Feliciano Cárdenas Pastor and Doña Guillermina Portillo de Cárdenas. Today it maintains a collection of native Chuncho genotypes—including Señorita—grown using syntropic agriculture that reflects the natural ecosystem of the valley.
Ura Chocolate works directly with farmers across Peru to highlight the diversity of native cacao. Through small-batch production and careful roasting, the Señorita bar expresses the distinctive character of this Chuncho variety and the unique environment of the La Convención Valley.
