L’Esterre is a fourth-generation, family-run cocoa farm located on the lush, breezy hillsides of northeast Grenada. Established in 1949, the estate has remained in the same family for over 75 years, its roots tracing back to East Indian immigrants who settled on the island.

The farm practices regenerative agriculture, growing fine-flavour cacao within a biodiverse ecosystem of native trees and tropical forest. By nurturing soil health, conserving water, and avoiding monoculture methods, L’Esterre helps preserve both the land and local livelihoods. Today, it continues to embody the spirit of sustainable Caribbean cocoa farming — where heritage, community, and the natural environment thrive together.
