LโEsterre is a fourth-generation, family-run cocoa farm that practices regenerative agriculture, growing fine-flavour cacao within a biodiverse ecosystem of native trees and tropical forest. Darkroom Chocolate is an independent, small-batch bean-to-bar chocolate maker based in North Walsham, Norfolk, UK. The makers, Natalie and Mike, are dedicated to crafting the purest form of dark chocolate, made with just two ingredients โ ethically sourced cacao and unrefined sugar.
Each bar begins with carefully sourced cacao beans from independent farms, cooperatives, and social enterprises around the world. Darkroom prioritises traceability, fair trade, and sustainable agriculture, ensuring that every step โ from harvest to final bar โ supports both quality and ethical production.
As a fully independent and self-funded chocolate maker, Darkroom operates without corporate backing or external investors. Instead, they choose to collaborate exclusively with independent shops, cafรฉs, and retailers, strengthening community and transparency across their supply chain.
Driven by passion and purpose, founders Nat and Mike bring creativity and craftsmanship to every batch.
