Beau Cacao Asajaya 78% Dark

Beau Cacao’s chocolate begins with cocoa beans sourced directly from selected small farms in Malaysia. Then they are gently roasted in the French Alps to bring out the nuances of each plantation, before being transformed into chocolate and then set in beautiful moulds.

The beans for this bar are grown by Mr & Mrs Chang in Asajaya, Sarawak, Malaysia.  Richly satisfying, with cereal and roasted nut flavours reminiscent of tahini and peanut butter.

A chocolate bar that perfectly introduces Sarawak. The perfect escape into the rainforest, an introduction to wildlife and secluded beaches.

Orfève Noir de Noir Bejofo 75%

Based in Geneva, Orfève was founded by François-Xavier Mousin and Caroline Buechler. A cocoa and chocolate manufacturer, Orfève masters all stages of chocolate production from bean to bar.

The Bejofo farm, from which the beans of this chocolate originated, extends in to the Sambriano Valley, near Ambanja, in the northwest of Madagascar.  Since 1920 it has been cultivating cocoa beans that are considered to have the most powerful aromas of all those produced in the country.  The family farm carefully maintains its heritage of old plants, which are farmed organically.

Belvie Thien Tuy 75%

This bar is made by chocolate addicts, Ms. Jannie Ha Tran (Vietnamese) and Marc Vanborren (Belgian).  This bar is made in Vietnam, with beans from the province of Lam Dong. Lam Dong is  a mountainous province, with a temperate mild climate all year round. This stable climate rarely changes from year to year.  The result of growing in this area and being influenced by the weather make that cocoa beans in Lam Dong result in a special type of chocolate.

Crow & Moss Honduras Wampusirpi 70%

The beans for this bar come from a remote part of north-eastern Honduras, accessible only by two day’s journey via canoe. While not certified organic, the beans are grown according to traditional farming practices without the use of any chemicals. Directly traded through Biosphere, the farmers received premiums well above market minimums and only the very best beans were accepted.  The chocolate is earthy and deep with a malty, almost mocha-like finish.

Heinde & Verre Floral Noble Bali Dark 71%

Heinde & Verre means “near and far”. The name pays homage to the Dutch culinary tradition of combining the best ingredients worldwide with quality local produce.

The cocoa for this bar comes from the KSS farmer cooperative, located in the Jembrana region of the island of Bali. Bali’s volcanic nature has contributed to its exceptional fertility and its tall mountain ranges provide the high rainfall that supports the highly productive agriculture sector

This bar excites the senses with a natural rich floral bouquet. It is this combination of flowers and typical warm Indonesian chocolate that makes this bar special.
