The original Dutch chocolate tradition is famous for the art of blending premium cocoa. Heinde & Verre blended organic certified cocoa from Latin America, the Caribbean and Indonesia. This makes for a bar with a generous, layered and lingering flavour.
Tasting notes talk of a “warm balanced mix of nuts, flowers and herbs. Pleasing bite, the melt is just right and a long chocolaty aftertaste with a hint of coffee.”
The organic certified cocoa in this blend is grown in agroforestry systems amongst other crops. Three single origins from Peru, Dominican Republic and Bali bring excitement to the Dutch Original Blend.
