Chocolate made from a Java criollo “light breaking” cacao bean from the very last batch of the Perkebunan Nusantara XII plantation. The famous plantation in Renteng has been cleared, so this is really your last chance to taste this special East Java cacao.
What makes this bar special?
The light brown colour of this bar makes you almost believe that you are dealing with a milk bar. This colour is one of the indications that you are in fact dealing with a dark bar made from a high percentage (60%-80%) light breaking criollo cacao from Java. Unique about this particular batch is that is made from non-smoked beans, while normally this variety is smoked. This allows for a delicate and lingering flavour experience.

Quality chocolate needs to be protected so we have developed the perfect packaging to preserve all the natural flavours. An aluminium pouch protects against light, humidity, dust and dirt. A double air tight seal protects against odours. We have extracted part of the air to reduce oxidisation and moisture.
