Description
This 70% dark chocolate bar features cacao sourced from Finca Las Veraneras in El Salvador, the main farm of Tierra Bendita’s Biokrop Project. Originally a coffee farm, Finca Las Veraneras has begun cultivating cacao using zero agrochemicals and sustainable, low-impact practices. Tierra Bendita’s team combines modern scientific methods with traditional agroecology to maintain fertile, healthy soil.
Ben Rasmussen, Chocolate Maker at Potomac Chocolate notes that “This bar is super mild for a 70% dark chocolate. It’s so mild and creamy that it tastes almost like a milk chocolate, with nice tropical fruit notes and a cardamom or cinnamon spice note.”
