Handmade Tree-to-bar chocolate with 60% fine cocoa Chuncho from natural cultivation from the Cusco region in Peru.
“Chuncho” is also the name of one of the world’s finest and rarest cocoa bean varieties. Only 30 tons of this exclusive ultra-premium variety are harvested annually.
It is produced ecologically and under fair conditions in the southern part of Peru.
It was originally grown by the Matshiguengas indigenous people who used to live in the remote Rio Apurimac and Villa Virgen valleys of the Cusco region in the south of Peru at an altitude of about 3,500 meters above sea level. Cocoa is still grown there today. . The beans are particularly small and therefore particularly aromatic. The aroma of Chuncho is very fruity and reminds of raisins and hazelnut.
Very mild and balanced. Floral, fruity with notes of caramel, raisins and hazelnut.
Free of additives such as emulsifiers, foreign fats, industrial sugar or flavourings.
