The high-quality cocoa beans are grown organically in Satipo, surrounded by natural forests. There, the climate of the tropical jungle is particularly suitable for cocoa plantations. These native cocoa beans belong to the Criollo bean family. They are medium in size and require a fermentation time of around 6 days. This is carried out in wooden boxes. After this process, the cocoa beans are dried in the sun.
